WHy "little Brown dog"?

Helping people build sustainable businesses that reflect who they are—and giving them the freedom to live life on their own terms—is my purpose. That's why my work is named after my little brown dogs, Doughnut and Strudel. They remind me every day of what all this is really for: creating a life that is meaningful, authentic, and rich with the people and moments that matter most.

I chose the name Little Brown Dog Consulting because, to me, it embodies the freedom that comes with building something of your own. Owning a business is one of the most personal forms of self-expression—it reflects your vision, your values, your personality, and the impact you hope to have on the people around you. It gives you the opportunity to build a life according to your own vision, rather than someone else's.

My role as founder of Little Brown Dog Consulting is to help clarify and express your vision—not my own. Whether it's aligning a leadership team around realistic operations, facilitating change, or building a culture people genuinely want to be part of, I help owners communicate what matters most in a way that others can understand, believe in, and choose to support.

The dogs are the symbol, not the reason.

The little brown dogs simply remind us not to lose sight of why we wanted that freedom in the first place.
